Staff were incredibly accommodating, particularly when modifying dishes to suit specific tastes. being a historic building, the rooms are quite quirky, which may not suit everyone’s preferences. there was some noise from other guests that could be heard at night.

It was a commendable fit for a brief retreat in Newcastle upon Tyne with fantastic value for money. The lobby was a lovely space, making our time without wifi much more enjoyable. Be prepared for some stairs if you have heavy luggage.
